November can be summed up as yet another month of major fluctuations on the world’s stock exchanges, driven by news relating to developments in the real economy. The S&P 500 index in the USA fell by 7.2 per cent, while Europe, measured by the MSCI Europe index, fell by 4.7 per cent, and the Nordic region, measured by the MSCI Nordic Countries index, fell by 5.4 per cent. In Norway, the Oslo Stock Exchange Mutual Fund Index fell by 9.5 per cent.
