The fund was established on 18 August 2000, and is managed by Lars Mohagen. The fund can only invest in companies that are primarily engaged in the oil and gas sector, which includes other service companies and companies engaged in recovery, production, processing and transport/distribution. The long-term aim of the fund is to give a higher return than the equity market for oil service companies (reference index: Philadelphia Stock Exchange Oil Service Index).
