At the beginning of last year, we believed that the stock exchanges of the world would end the year in the black. We were very wrong. During 2008 we experienced that the extent subprime crisis developed into a major financial crisis. Many banks and financial institutions experienced suddenly serious problems, due to lack of confidence and capital. Stock exchanges around the world plummeted – and ODIN’s equity funds also fell a great deal.
